Written by David (mrloferlofer) I sat on this for awhile out of respect for the loss experienced by James' family and friends. Now that the funeral and estate have been settled, there seem to be a few correlations between Space Weather events and Sudden Cardiac Arrest to be pointed out. Keep in mind: Italy is +2 Hours UTC. So, what happened to James, according to the MSM? According to E!online: "Gandolfini was originally in Italy to attend the Taormina Film Festival and was rushed to the Policlinico Umberto I hospital after his 13-year-old son found him collapsed in their hotel bathroom. The hospital's ER director said the actor arrived at the emergency room 'in a cardiac arrest, accompanied by ambulance of the 118 service [similar to 911 in the U.S.].' Unfortunately, 'the attempts to rescue failed, and at 23:00 [11 p.m.] the patient died, formally died.'" ABC News reported that: "Gandolfini fell ill Wednesday night in his room at the Hotel Exedra. The actor was taken to the hospital around 10:40 PM as paramedics attempted to resuscitate him. At the hospital, doctors attempted to resuscitate the actor for another 40 minutes, but were unsuccessful, according to Prof. Claudio Modini, director of the hospital's emergency department." A USA Today article laments on the fact that deaths like Gandolfini's are too common: "Cardiac Arrest is caused when the heart's electrical system malfunctions. In cardiac arrest, death results when the heart suddenly stops working properly. This may be caused by abnormal, or irregular, heart rhythms called arrhythmias. A common arrhythmia in cardia arrest is ventricular fibrillation. this is when the heart's lower chambers suddenly start beating chaotically and don't pump blood. Death occurs within minutes after the heart stops." James Gandolfini's death has been put down as being the result of 'natural causes,' and I completely agree. However, I would like to go into more detail about what triggered those natural causes in order to impart a more complete understanding of what's happening in our current reality. Solar Wind Spikes on June 18th, 2013: | Data, Photographs from June 19th: Excerpts from 4MIN News June 19, 2013 (left): (1:29) Solar Wind: we have minor rising of the 'orange' density, 'yellow' speed, and 'green' plasma temperature; but I'll point out a single point density spike way, way, way above all the others [just after 20:00 UTC]. (1:41) Magnetosphere Simulation is using only ACE Solar Wind Data, nothing actually monitors field lines. So yes, that spike you see there was the little density peak; this happened yesterday as well in the 04:00 Hour. Excerpts from 3MIN News June 20, 2013: Major Weather, Solar Wind Spike, "Mid-Watch Lull" Explained (on the left): (1:06) Cosmic Ray Station in Moscow showing a sharp up-tick in neutron count; coming to the BARTOL, however, reveals elevated but not major readings. (1:16) Solar Wind just got interesting: while plasma temperature and speed appear poised to rise-the density had no patience-he was like, 'you two can sit here if you want, I'm gone.' (1:26) SOHO confirms a ten times normal density spike out ahead of what I expect to be speedier particles arriving this afternoon. (1:33) Electron Flux taking a ding this morning with the GOES Magnetometer struggling to show normalcy; KP-Index is yet unchanged, lets keep watch today. On the left is an image of two tables from the paper "Clinical Cosmo-biology - Sudden Cardiac Death and Daily/Monthly Geomagnetic, Cosmic Ray and Solar Activity," which concludes: - The timing of Sudden Cardiac Death shows significant relationship to space physical activity parameters. - The number of SCD is rising on the highest and lowest daily levels of Geomagnetic Activity. The relatively rare GMA storms concentrate most of SCD at days of lowest GMA. - Days with SCD are accompanied by higher Cosmic Ray Activity (neutron activity on the Earth's surface) and is additionally increased at days with multiple Sudden Cardiac Deaths. On June 15th at 09:44:45 UTC we had a Gamma Ray Burst out of the Pavo Constellation making it a total of 10 GRB's for the month of June. Solar Activity was just starting to pick itself up off the floor but was still pretty weak, allowing a greater impact of galactic cosmic rays on Earth. |
Pull quotes from Sudden Cardiac Arrest Paper along side the Evidence Analysis:

James Gandolfini, age 51, was found in the bathroom at 10:40 PM (20:40 UTC) and pronounced dead around 11 PM local time (21:00 UTC), which corresponds with the sharp spike in the Cosmic Ray Neutron Monitor from Moscow; on the local night side of the Earth. It also matches up with the reoccurring density, speed and temperature spikes in the Solar Wind Telemetry.
These spikes had been impacting at the same time between 20:00 and 21:00 UTC, for several consecutive nights. A period of unusually calm Solar Activity, for a Solar Maximum, was just coming to an end.
"During a solar storm, a small amount of very energetic protons and ions with energy levels exceeding 500 MeV are contained in the SPE particle stream. These very energetic solar cosmic rays have the potential of creating a particle stream that travels down to the planet’s surface. If an individual is at the wrong place at the wrong time, and the nuclear particle enters the human body, it can produce very damaging effects. If the particle thermalizes within the nervous system, the release of intense ionization can cause an electrical instability in the heart and result in a Sudden Cardiac Death."
Whether or not James had heart disease is a matter of his medical history of which I do not have access too. However, I can say with absolute certainty that he had just flown on a transoceanic flight (exposing his cells to increased cosmic ray activity that had been saturating Earth's atmosphere the first two weeks of June), was in an area with different levels of UV radiation exposure (resulting in variations in melatonin production from the pineal gland) and was not in his home, but in 'unfamiliar' settings as these Space Weather impacts, changes occurred.
“Sudden Cardiac Death is influenced by seasonal and terrestrial weather changes, by variations in temperature, atmospheric pressure and other meteorological parameters. But, alongside with above-mentioned medical-biological, meteorological, social and other affecting factors, disturbances and variations in the external/environmental physical activity can play a significant role in Sudden Cardiac Death mortality as a trigger factor.”
All of these were trigger factors: being in a foreign country with a sudden change in diet and staying in a hotel room which is not exactly the comfort of home only added to James' environmental stress in his final moments. James suffered cardiac arrest as the Space Weather went from a long period of quiet (marred by frequent Gamma Ray Bursts and the increase in Cosmic Rays produced), to a sudden ramp up in Solar Activity; this is a natural process.
Here's some thought-food in the form of a quote from a paper detailing the increasing threats we will all be facing from Solar Storms and our weakening magnetic field in the near future:
"One area of greater vulnerability is physical proximity to a magnetic pole reversal, such as the South Atlantic Anomaly...As our magnetic field returns to its normal very weak state probably during the next millennium, the field will break up from a single strong magnetic dipole into many small magnetic dipoles, many with opposite polarity. Small magnetic dipoles, such as the South Atlantic Anomaly, will become the rule rather than the exception. Some of these newly formed reverse fields will be centered over large population centers in mid-latitude and equatorial regions. As the magnetic field weakens, the vulnerability to nuclear radiation exposure from SPEs will increasingly become a greater threat."
